Full Job Description

The Senior Optimisation Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of a data driven & scalable web optimisation strategy across our primary web destination,www.sage.com, globally.

You will work closely with a range of stakeholders to identify user problems, working collaboratively through ideation to produce creative solutions, validated through experimentation. You will pull in all the required internal resources and stakeholders to create optimisation roadmaps to deliver against agreed project timelines and business targets.

All optimisation programmes will be grounded in data, analysis, and user insight to maximise return on all integrated (Organic and Paid) marketing investment delivering required leads across form submissions, products trials, products demos, and e-commerce transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Summary of your day-to-day?

You will be act as a key team member in building hypotheses to champion a data-driven, test and learn approach to optimising the customer journey and user experiences and prepare and execute data driven optimisation roadmaps based on business priorities. You will also build and iterate personalisation campaigns that add measured commercial value and communicate regularly and clearly on roadmap updates, new opportunities, insights & results. Collaborating with global stakeholders is key to deliver optimised customer journeys whilst working closely with Insights, Data, Web Delivery and Strategy as well as XS (Experience Design) to deliver best in class digital experiences and Marketing Operations to deliver reporting templates

  • Experience executing CRO programs.


  • Experience delivering complex dynamic experiences to visitors based on traffic sources, digital body language, firmographic information, and other key data points.


  • Strong digital marketing skills coupled with deep web conversion rate optimisation knowledge. Outcome/Revenue focused.


  • Track record of achieving statistically significant uplifts via conversion rate optimisation in high growth environments.
