Much of our work involves understanding the linkages and dependencies in catchment systems to meet future water management demands, from both a water supply and wastewater treatment perspective and with growing public awareness of environmental challenges, including climate change and pollution. This is a key role in a growing team focused on applying science-based understanding to identify opportunities for nature-based solutions, either as an alternative to or in support of, more traditional engineered solutions. You will prepare technical proposals and reports, and supervise colleagues including checking and reviewing outputs and evaluating progress against time and budget constraints. You will provide mentorship to junior staff and strengthen relationships with other disciplines within Stantec. Stantec has major contracts throughout the UK and Ireland that require the above expertise. Whilst we are very successful in our markets we are looking to the future, where the latest guidance and regulation puts far greater emphasis on multi-stakeholder sustainable solutions. This role is about being part of our journey where we have already seen substantial growth in our services and are confident this will continue for the foreseeable future.,
