This is a Senior Oracle Technical Operations Analyst role for the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2; an HR & Payroll functional specialist within the Technical Operations (ERP) team. We are a team of 30 with a mixture of both functional analysts and technical developers. Our E-Business Suite is the widest and most complex Oracle estate in Europe. We have HR & Payroll applications, Supply Chain, Procurement, Financials & Projects, and we are hosted in Oracle’s public cloud, OCI., Be the application expert for a defined portfolio of applications in the Oracle ERP suite Work with the other members of the Application support team in the day-to-day use and development of the system. What will you be doing?

  • The recognised company expert providing day to day functional support for a portfolio of applications within the Oracle ERP suite, owning the relationship with the business to develop efficient application systems utilising established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Consult with internal clients on business requirements to provide effective support and development
  • Drive and lead the technical aspects of multiple projects/small enhancements within assigned area of Oracle ERP portfolio and related business applications
  • Own and deliver integrated systems planning and drive recommendations for new/different solutions which will enhance current systems and support overall corporate and business goals
  • Own and define documentation and plans for activities such as configurations, to include but not limited to develop functional test scenarios, perform functional and regression testing, assist with UAT.
  • Own and drive action of issues with Oracle Support to resolve outstanding issues with Oracle ERP product
  • Prepare and submit requests for change deployment to change control. Manage the implementation process for new releases of supported applications.
  • Act as coach and mentor to less-experienced team members
  • Actively own and manage key stakeholder relationships

    Proven experience supporting ERP oracle modules, with the ability to support a minimum of 2 modules OR Proven track record of working in systems related environment
  • Proven extensive technical knowledge and experience in amending the Oracle vanilla product to company requirements
  • Demonstrable extensive experience with SQL, workflow, Oracle ERP table structures
  • Demonstrable extensive knowledge of Oracle AIM methodology (MD50, MD70, BR100 etc)
  • Demonstrable extensive knowledge of configuration management
  • Demonstrable experience of change management
  • Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, organisational and team development skills
  • Demonstrable, extensive experience of working in a multi-skilled team in a customer focussed environment
