Full Job Description

As Senior Paid Search Account Director you will be responsible and accountable for the success and delivery of Visualsofts Paid Search service. You will own a portfolio of key Paid Search clients and become the go-to key relationship stakeholder for Paid Search. Relationships and client centricity are crucial as your main objective is to grow your portfolio's return ensuring the Paid Search product/service is innovative, efficient and delivered to the highest possible quality. Alongside this, you will be required to line manage a team of Associate Account Directors, Account Directors and Executives within the Paid Search team. Ensuring they have the support needed to grow their portfolio of clients, again in turn aiding the overall growth of the Paid Search department. Aside from the client and people management, you will also be responsible for owning one of our Partner Relationships, whether this be Google, Microsoft, Shoptimised, Amazon or any future partnerships we may garner., The Senior Paid Search Account Director will lead and ensure implementation of the client portfolio across all relevant platforms of the product/service, constantly aiming to deliver the clients goals and targets. By utilising the latest 'best in class' technology and leveraging our partnerships, such as Google, Microsoft and Shoptimised, to drive excellence, the Senior Paid Search Account Director will put the client first, reacting and adapting when required with a strategic mindset. Whilst also managing your portfolio of clients you will be responsible for line managing a small team of Associate Account Directors, Account Directors and Executives. This aspect of your role will require you to support your team members with their portfolio management and to help undertake any training required to grow the individual team members and the department as a whole. With reduced numbers of clients this will also allow you to support the Head of Department with delivering certain tasks which will bring new business into the department as well as improve on the same store growth for the client set already in place. Such tasks will be carrying out audits and pitches for potential clients, as well as being involved in Partner Relationships and discussions around progression and processes to grow the individual members of the team and the department. Primary Duties Client Portfolio Relationship

  • Nurture and own the relationship of your portfolio of clients.
  • Portfolio Retention
  • By utilising your relationship with your portfolio ensure client retention is at an all time high and best in class.
  • Maintain & Promote Highest Standards of Paid Search
  • The execution of Visualsofts services must be impeccable, this ensures all clients are serviced fully and efficiently, but also to the best of Visualsoft's ability at all times.
  • Be responsible for owning the relationship with our external Partners where needed
  • Be a line of escalation for others in your pod
  • Client Happiness
  • Measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS), utilise your relationship and generation of results to ensure NPS is constantly high.
  • Client Satisfaction Surveys (CSAT) will be conducted at all available touch points, as Senior Paid Search Account Director it is imperative that your client portfolio gives positive responses.
  • When NPS or CSAT scores are not as desired, appropriate action must be taken leveraging your relationship and the work Visualsoft carries out.

  • Continuously strive to produce the highest results for Visualsoft clients via Paid Search.Take full ownership and accountability for all results, implementing change where required to improve.

  • Devise and own best in class Paid Search strategies of your portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure positive and negative results are shared across the business with relevant key stakeholders to benefit other client portfolios.
  • Implement industry leading strategies, even first to market where beneficial.

  • Reports - sign off the next steps once sent over from an Executive within your pod.
  • All Strategy client reports should be completed by the Senior Account Director
  • Strategy decks - Commentary and Strategy ideas

  • Support the Head of Department with client pitches and audits
  • Supporting the Head of Department with coaching, mentoring and training
  • Helping identify gaps in processes and how to overcome these issues

    Extensive proven experience on either agency or client-side specialising in Paid Search
  • Extensive experience in Paid Search management
  • Proven expertise in external Paid Search platforms and tools, analytics, forecasting and measurement
  • Experience in building and executing Paid Search strategies, whether in-house or for clients
  • Working to tight deadlines as a team and as an individual
  • Client-facing experience at a senior level
  • Client meeting experience and proven strategy presentation skills
