Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Lewes, a category B male Prison located in near the centre of the historical town of Lewes, which is just a 5 minute walk away . Hours 37.5 hours a week working Monday to Friday, 07.00-19.30pm. Working 3 longer days for 3 weeks, 4 longer days 1 in every 4. Weekend working, once a month., As a Senior Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Provide clinical leadership to small team of paramedics
  • Have an individual approach to all patients, providing triage, minor illness and minor injury assessment
  • Undertake the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care, within the healthcare centre and on the Wings/ blocks
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound care and cardiac & CVA intervention

    Qualified Paramedic and registered with the HCPC with post qualification experience

    This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £47250per annum FTE - depending on experience. How will we support you?
