Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Patient Pathway Coordinator to work closely with our clinical teams to develop services and meet the demands of our population. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who want to provide the very best in care. The post holder will play a key role in actively managing the administrative processes of Trauma patient pathways for the Plastic Surgery department at The Royal London Hospital to ensure a smooth and efficient service for patients throughout their journey. We have a lot to offer in terms of the variety of experience, the satisfaction of meeting our challenges., The post holder will play a key role in actively managing the administrative processes of patient pathways and the administrative staff for the Plastic Surgery Department based at The Royal London Hospital. The purpose of this role is to ensure a smooth and efficient service for patients throughout their journey and to provide an effective administration service to the multidisciplinary team. The post is pivotal to the running of the department.

As well as our trauma service, we also have a large and expanding elective service. As we work to address the backlog from the pandemic, we have temporarily increased the size of our admin and medical teams to meet the needs of our patients. This is a key leadership growth & development post to oversee and coordinate this administrative support.

We are looking for ambitious candidates who want to provide the very best in clinical pathway support with a view for development support into growth for future operational management roles such as service delivery managers.
