Full Job Description

We require a Senior Payroll Worker to add to our experienced and committed staff team. You will have the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of social care provision in the sector. Our Payroll Support Team provides a secure, efficient, high quality and focused payroll service to assist our customers, who employ their own support workers, with all payroll requirements.

Your role will involve:

  • Supporting the smooth daily operation of the Leeds CIL Payroll Service

  • Coordinating and monitoring customer referral requests, delivering an excellent customer on-boarding experience

  • Completing timely and accurate complex end-to-end processing of payroll

  • Accurately preparing all customer payroll BACS/ HMRC/ Pension reporting to meet specific deadlines

    High level knowledge of payroll processing, and HMRC legislation

  • Ability to communicate and work appropriately with people from a wide range of backgrounds

  • Proven experience of using Microsoft Office and Payroll systems and other IT software applications

  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all work whilst meeting conflicting deadlines

  • Confidence to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team


  • You will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar type of role; however, we would welcome applications from all candidates who can demonstrate that they have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience outlined in the Person Specification.
