Full Job Description

This will be a senior post responsible for leading on Governance, Education and Training

Ideally you will be an independent prescriber or be prepared to undergo the relevant training. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a specialist pharmacy team working closely with multi-disciplinary clinical teams including consultants, registrars, specialist nurse practitioners, dieticians and psychologists.

Our friendly department provides an environment that supports innovation, learning and team working and encourages individuals to develop in their role. As a department we continually aim to improve patient care and to promote professional development. We are a forward thinking department having recently invested in electronic pharmaceutical care planning. To meet the needs of our patients we provide ward-based clinical pharmacy and have a team of independent prescribers.
