Senior Pharmacy Assistant (High Cost Drug and Medication Efficiency)

Job Summary: To work with the technical services team, Pharmacists, Aseptic Unit Staff and Nursing Staff to ensure the safe and cost-effective use of intravenous systemic anti-cancer cancer treatments (IV SACT) in the MTW NHS Trust. To assist in managing and reducing wastage of High Cost Intravenous Cancer treatments. Working relationships: 1. Liaise with the pharmacy technical team at Tunbridge Wells, including pharmacists, technicians and assistants to maximise cost effective use of cancer treatments 2.
Liaise with the Pharmacy High Cost Drugs Team to ensure cost effective use of drugs 3. Liaise with nursing staff on Cancer Day and Inpatient wards to ensure efficient use and return of intravenous cancer treatments. Budget responsibilities: non
