Full Job Description

You will work closely with the Lead Pharmacist for Cancer Services and Lead Pharmacy Technician - Aseptic Services to deliver a safe and effective aseptic and chemotherapy service by ensuring that aseptic dispensing and manufacturing is carried out in compliance with current legislation and standards following the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice.
Our aseptic service must be be efficient and cost effective, the post holder will also be responsible for helping to develop key performance indicators to help improve turnaround times and expenditure.
This means that you will need to actively seek to further develop technical staff through education and manufacturing activities.

Are you a registered Pharmacy Technician with experience of working in an aseptic unit or a Science Manufacturing Technician and would like to join a multidisciplinary team who provide essential cancer treatments to our day treatment room?
You must have a good understanding of aseptic processes, Good Manufacturing Practice and be familiar with the Quality Assurance of Aseptic Preparation Services Standards (the yellow guide).
