Full Job Description

As part of the Income Generation Directorate, the Senior Manager plays a strategic role in the development of fundraising at Helen & Douglas House, reporting to the Head of Fundraising and sitting on the fundraising senior leadership team. We are at a very exciting moment in Helen & Douglas Houses history with a new CEO and Director of Income Generation on board and a new three-year strategy in development. This new strategy will provide the organisation with a strong outward-facing ambition and the opportunity to engage more high value donors in our plans. The Senior Philanthropy Manager will lead the development and delivery of major donor fundraising, the management and delivery of the Trusts Fundraising programme and the areas of work delivered by the Philanthropy Executive. The role will be responsible for circa £800k income this financial year with the opportunity to develop and grow both income streams. The area of major gifts has been identified as a key growth area and
therefore is an organisational priority. The Senior Philanthropy Manager will work to maximise donor recruitment, retention and ultimately lifetime value. You will also lead on the charitys work to package up projects and future ambitions, in line with the charitys strategy, working closely with the Exec Team and service teams to develop their plans in to key propositions for funding.
