Full Job Description

This position is suitable for an experienced clinician who is highly driven, friendly and passionate about driving high quality care, whilst demonstrating sound evidence-based practise. The role will involve undertaking comprehensive, advanced assessments of patients and then formulating individualised management plans for those who may have acute or chronic and complex needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuing the on-going development of high standards of clinical practice and expertise within the service, contributing to implementation of specific changes to practice and service protocols There is a strong ethos of Continuing Professional Development in this service, and you will receive regular supervision, as well as a regular In-Service Training programme with internal and external speakers.

The successful candidate must be confident in demonstrating your experiencing skills including and not excluding to:

  • Paper triage of MSK self-referrals.
  • MSK Triage assessment clinics.
  • Orthopaedic Hip and Knee OA Pathway
  • MSK Hands Clinic
  • Supervision of junior staff
  • Contributing to implementation of specific changes to practice and service protocols.

    This post is fixed term until 30/09/25 working 28.25 hours per week. The MOSAIC Service takes pride in developing our staff, and as a band 6 physiotherapist, you will have the perfect opportunity to develop your career within a large, innovative, and friendly MSK team that consists of experienced Physiotherapists, Advanced Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Exercise Practitioners, Pain Practitioners, Pharmacists, Pain consultants and our GP with a special interest in Hands. As you join our team, not only will you have the guidance and supervision from our experienced staff, but you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills within our band 6 rotation, where you will gain experience in:
  • MSK Triage Assessment Clinics
  • MSK Hands
  • Orthopaedic hip and knee clinics.
  • Pain clinics
  • MSK self-referral triage, £37,338 to £44,962 a year Pro Rata for Part Time
