  • Are you an experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for working service users within mental health contexts?
  • Do you have the skills and knowledge necessary to manage a complex and varied caseload in a specialist inpatient setting?

  • We are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to work as part of a small physiotherapy team, delivering a high-quality physiotherapy service across working age adult inpatient wards and specialist units. The role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to combine their physiotherapy and leadership skills to share their clinical know how and build on the physiotherapy profile within a multi-disciplinary team environment as well as throughout the Trust. This includes opportunities to attend sessions to develop clinical skills including working with a trauma informed approach and psychologically informed care as well as personal and leadership development.Main duties of the job
  • Assessment and development of interventions for working age adults with complex mental health needs.
  • The candidate will need to demonstrate the combination of clinical knowledge with clear communication and leadership in a dynamic environment with various professionals within the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • The candidate will manage a mixed caseload including complex orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, neurology conditions as a well as functional disorders and long-term conditions.
  • The candidate will advocate for the physical health of service users with complex mental health needs
