Full time Rotational Band 6 Respiratory Physiotherapist advert
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering respiratory physiotherapy on ITU and our medical and surgical wards within the acute setting. The post holder will work and rotate within the inpatient acute services based at Wycombe Hospital and Stoke Mandeville Hospital
We pride ourselves on integrated team working and strive for best clinical practice. The post holder will have the opportunity to enhance their respiratory skills and management of medical and surgical patients with support from our band 7 Advanced Physiotherapists in Respiratory .
We strongly encourage an evidenced based approach and support staff through supervision and appraisal. There is a strong emphasis on student education. Attendance at post graduate courses is also supported.
Candidates will be expected to join and partake in emergency on call rota and weekend working rotas, therefore previous experience of working within a respiratory or intensive care field is essential., To perform assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, and to provide advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
