An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist with substantial experience in the field of neurology, to support the provision and development of our services to the stroke unit ,early supported discharge for stroke, neurology in-patients and neurology out-patients.

Our proud to CARE values and Leading the Chesterfield Way behaviours are firmly embedded across the Trust, whilst our focus on proudly 'being you' supports our hospital to be a great place to work., Applicants will be able to evidence post-graduate experience in the fields of acute stroke care and stroke rehabilitation. They will also have experience of the in and out-patient rehabilitation of patients with a wide range of other neurological conditions. Applicants will be responsible, along with the rest of the senior team, for supervising more junior physiotherapists, TI's and assistants based within the team., Emma Shaddock one of the Neurology team leads says this "If you are a physiotherapist with an interest in neurology and supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey and wish to join our passionate and friendly team, we'd love to hear from you!"
Hours will be worked to support the 7 day provision of inpatient stroke care and applicants will be expected to have a flexible approach to this., The Trust provides clinical placements for students from Sheffield and Nottingham and applicants will have experience of supporting students on undergraduate placements.
The Trust is committed to supporting and developing staff through appraisals and the supervision process. Senior staff have individual supervision and peer support as well as access to training.
