Full Job Description

  • Managing planning applications from inception to submission, ensuring projects run smoothly and in line with client expectations
  • Providing expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
  • Preparing and submitting detailed planning reports, impact assessments, and other relevant documentation
  • Engaging with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve successful planning outcomes
  • Working closely with senior team members and mentoring junior staff
  • Contributing to the growth and success of the consultancy by supporting business development initiatives

    Proven experience in managing planning applications and navigating the planning process
  • A strong understanding of national and local planning policy and regulations
  • On the pathway to Chartership, or already chartered (RTPI or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
