Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Planning Team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Working as part of the planning team the post holder will provide vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the strategic service planning agenda, providing expertise to support Divisions in their work to plan, redesign and modernise services. They will take the lead in providing system and data modelling to support service development, looking to ensure intelligence led service planning that support teams in understanding whole system impact.,
- Provide lead service planning support to the Health Board Divisions,facilitatingdelivery of key and specific areas of Division service plans aimed at improving service provision across the 'whole system',from primary and community care, through to secondary and specialised services.
- Be a senior manager within the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) and will be a senior member of the Corporate Planning Team.Working, asrequired, with other Planning Team members, Divisional Directors, Divisional General Managers and other senior managers and clinicians.
- The post holder will provide the best practice pro-active and technical planning advice and support to the organisation on service plans,strategiesand service development approaches.
- Lead specific projects and plans necessary to develop and deliver new service models and provide support for the Health Board's strategic plans. Interview Date: 12 November 2024
