Full Job Description

  • Provide administration support which includes project setup, user creation, role assignment and access controls, interfacing with ICT as required.

  • Provide specialist frontline problem solving, advice and guidance to Teamcenter users.

  • Provide user support via PLM help desk providing solutions to incidents raised. Maintain the help desk database to ensure accurate recording of incidents.

  • Investigate PLM problems in a structured logical approach providing recommendations and outcomes in an effective manner.

  • Provide expert knowledge and contribute to the definition, deployment and testing of new PLM functionality and processes.

  • Assist in identifying additional system value and process improvements.

  • Support the development and deployment of PLM capabilities into the business.

  • Assist the completion of PLM audits to satisfy company procedures and external audits.

  • Ensure accurate records are maintained for all system and configuration changes.

  • Provide training and awareness in the form of meetings, workshops and presentations to groups of users.

  • Provide guidance and direction to engineers and trainees, including graduates and apprentices.

    Good knowledge of PLM, Document Management, Part and Bill of Material Management and Change Management.

  • Confident in their subject and decisive with ideas and recommendations Hands on working knowledge of Teamcenter ideally, either in support role or as an end user.

  • Problem solving - structured logical approach to investigate issues and problems in an effective manner.

  • Challenge ideas, proposed solutions and people in a constructive, positive manner.

  • Demonstrate ability of fulfilling customer requirements (internal and / or external).

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Computer literate and have an aptitude for involvement in IT systems.

  • Good communication skills, written and oral.

  • HNC or equivalent experience in Engineering or Technology Field
