Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within the Amber Valley, Bolsover and North East Derbyshire Mental Health Team for a Senior Practitioner.
The successful candidate will support professional development and effective delivery of the team which works with people with mental health difficulties from the age of 18 upwards.
You will work alongside the Service Manager and other Senior Practitioners to maintain high quality professional practice, and ensuring teams have the necessary skills and training to deliver our services, alongside holding a small but complex case load. The role will be key in mentoring and coaching colleagues, in particular, newly qualified workers and students, as well as working in partnership with stakeholders including Health, Housing, and others both within and across organisations.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, resilience, the ability to work under pressure and be flexible and adaptable to cope with the varying demands and challenges of the post.

  • Our base is at Alfreton Area office but we are continuing to offer a hybrid approach to working, and our team is currently working from home and from the office based on the needs of the service.
