The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., The Mental Health care group are looking for several highly motivated, well organised and effective Registered Nurses to provide high quality complex clinical telephone triage and clinical assessment to individuals presenting with mental health illness/conditions, in psychological distress or acute crisis, resulting in a safe and appropriate clinical decision.
The "111#2" team will be the nurse led single point of contact for all urgent mental health needs in the CTM footprint as well as providing direction for all citizens across our 3 Local Authority communities who require advice and information in relation to their psychological and mental health wellbeing.
The post holders will act as a point of escalation and decision maker for clinical triage and risk management. They will support the Clinical Lead in the operational management of the Service which will be facilitated through the National 111 Service.
The post holders will also need to support the Service to maintain professional clinical standards, be professionally accountable for the delivery of its associated functions.
This post is office based, given the nature of this work, there will be no remote working. Flexible working is required in line with service need over 24 hours 7 days a week., The post holders will manage a team of staff including Well-being Practitioners. They will act as a point of escalation and decision maker for clinical triage and risk management.
Support the Clinical Lead in the operational management of the Service which will be facilitated through the national 111 Service.
Provide highly specialised clinical advice to other mental health professionals, acting as the clinical decision maker when triaging individuals with sometimes multiple and highly complex mental health needs.
Work with team members to achieve service delivery expectations, ensuring an understanding of the service goals and objectives.
Deliver compassionate and focused care to those in need of mental health support. Support the evaluation and management of clinical triage to ensure a range of recovery focused interventions, utilising Third Sector organisations and community resources.
The post holders should be flexible and adaptable to accommodate the needs of the Service. In the absence of the Clinical Lead, the post holders are designated to take charge of the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
