Full Job Description

  • This role is central the overall evolution of our pricing strategy, specifically within the Alternative Pricing Department (APP)
  • As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will have the opportunity to innovate, suggesting new approaches, exploring them using cutting edge new technologies.
  • You will get the chance to use a vast array of data sets, some unique to Hastings. you will then work to iteratively enhance our models.
  • You will own the end to end delivery of pricing changes right from concept, down to live deployment.
  • This role also has the potential to grow into some line management responsibilities, with the chance to mentor our junior analysts.
  • Here at Hastings, we have a pricing, data and analytics community of 200+ with a huge array of expertise and experience. We are at the forefront of change and you'll have the chance to play your part in this.

    With the large end to end responsibilities that come with this role, we are seeking a competent coder; someone who is proficient in SQL and Python.
  • Given that this is also a senior role, we need someone who has extensive experience in either a pricing analyst or pricing manager position.
  • While there is the potential for managerial responsibilities over time, we are really looking for an individual contributor; someone who is an independent thinker and can work autonomously.
