Full Job Description

  • Further development of the process conceptual design based on the latest production and geoscience data
  • Production and review of the required process deliverables to support progression from current phase all the way to start up
  • Provision of technical input to vendor and contractor packages
  • Review of vendor and contractor process related deliverables to ensure they are in line with project requirements
  • Provide technical leadership to vendor and contractor as and when required
  • Provide input to project schedule and cost for each phase
  • Liaise with Operations as and required regarding their input to the project and their requirement from the project
  • Work with other disciplines to ensure a successful project outcome
  • Work with project manager to provide required input into project reports.
  • Produce and carry out presentation for technical discussion and decision making.
  • Provide pragmatic and progressive approach towards resolving any showstoppers or issues that may arise.
  • Liaise with Operations on key project documentation to be provided and handed over at the end of the project.
  • Ensure required final project process documentation are identified upfront and handed over.
    • Scope 2: Optimisation Projects
  • Review of the current design and operation of the facilities
  • Provide pragmatic solutions on improving the crude export of the facilities
  • Identify other improvement opportunities in other areas of the plant
  • Produce required process deliverables to document and progress the opportunities identified.
  • Produce and carry out presentation for technical discussion and decision making.
  • Provide technical input, review and produce process deliverables to progress selected solution from concept to start up.
  • Interface with operations and other disciplines as and when required to clarify and progress the projects.
    • Full scope of work with deliverables and objectives will be made available during a technical validation meeting. This is a contract opportunity offered subject to IR35 compliance checks.

    We are looking for experienced Process engineering consulting services for, conceptual, FEED, and detailed design project phases. Experience in late-life asset development and design, as well as onsite experience, will be preferred. The scope of work involves performing standard engineering design calculations and undertaking the responsibilities listed below,
  • Experienced Process Engineering consultant with 5-10+ years' experience in Process / Petrochemicals Industry & / or onshore / offshore oil & gas is required.
  • Hands on design experience in Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design phases
  • Experience in the design of typical equipment used in oil and gas processing facilities.
  • Track record of generating and implementing "out of the box" pragmatic and safe solutions to process engineering problems.
  • Good practical working knowledge of process software, especially Unisim for process simulation and other tools such as Flare System Analyser and Flaresim.
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of international standards
