Full Job Description
Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit! The Process engineer will support the design of complex thermal and fluid systems for the Rolls Royce SMR project. This exciting new build project is embracing innovation to deliver a commercially . The role will provide analysis and calculation support across Turbine Island systems and will contribute to an internal centre of excellence for analysis and calculation methodology. Along with the cross-cutting lead you will generate static and transient flow and thermal analyses using various software tools and methods to demonstrate the system performance.,
- Intelligent Customer: Ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements, challenging designs where necessary.
- ️Design Development: Create and review Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Layout Drawings, Component Sizing Calculations, and Specifications.
- Optioneering & Decision Making: Conduct and review studies and design documents.
- Systems Engineering: Develop and review functional and design requirements.
- Integration: Seamlessly integrate Turbine Island design into the broader power plant.
- ️Technical Support: Serve as the go-to expert for Turbine Island interface and stakeholder activities.
- ️Safety & Compliance: Support Design Reviews, HAZID/HAZOP studies, and ensure adherence to H&S Policies.
