Full Job Description
The role requires working as a key member of the CHP Procurement team, working alongside the Head of Procurement and Procurement Business Partners across various spend categories in CHP. Working with key stakeholders across CHP to support the end-to-end procurement process from initial inception through to mobilisation, and on-going contract management. The Senior Procurement Business Partner will promote procurement activities to the wider organisation, ensuring that best procurement practice, Providing hands-on end to end procurement expertise on various procurement exercises, including use of Framework agreements (re-opening of competition and direct award) and CHP tenders. Applying Category Management practises. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers and be recognised as a trusted partner. Being a procurement SME with CHP colleagues. Helping to shape the overall procurement function offering and raising the profile of procurement across CHP. Ensure adherence to public procurement regulations, compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks, including relevant Notices. Promote sustainable procurement practices and social value; ensure they are adopted and embedded wherever possible. Adhere to CHP's procurement policy, SFIs and governance procedures. Maintain an up-to-date risk register and contracts register for CHP and a forward plan of procurement activity. Applicants can be based anywhere within the UK.
