We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager who can drive teams/customers/projects and programmes forward within specific portfolios in the digital arena. This post is an excellent opportunity to exhibit your specialist skills, managing national scale complex procurements and providing commercial leadership within health and social care landscape. The successful candidate will be working with NHS England, Department of Health and Social Care and the NHS.
Excelling at relationship management and procurement delivery the successful candidate will also possess excellent project management approach. Main duties of the job
The scope of the Hubs work is predominantly commercial: market assessment, engagement, stimulation and management; commercial contracting - formation and management; project and programme set up leading to competitive procurement including framework establishment, management and call off. The remit of the Hub is to share across programmes and be the conduit between national and regional teams. As the Hub is commissioned nationally, the services are free to use at Integrated Care Boards (ICB)'s and general practice. Therefore, the culture has always been one of sharing tools, techniques and products to support customers to deliver best practice
Our work demands swift understanding of complex issues at short notice, following through with excellent commercial, procurement and project advice and actions., The Hub is an integral delivery agent to digitization of the Primary Care agenda as set out in the NHS England Securing Excellence in Primary Care (GP) Digital Services operating framework.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager who would like to work within a fast paced, ever evolving and open culture professional team. This post is an excellent opportunity to exhibit your specialist skills, managing national scale complex procurements and providing commercial leadership within health and social care landscape. The successful candidate will be working with NHS England, Department of Health and Social Care and the NHS.
A good understanding of procuring NHS services, an excellent knowledge of public procurement regulations, and experience of e-Sourcing systems will be essential. The post holder will be leading a procurement team in delivery of commercial programmes of work. Having proven commercial expertise in a digital environment is key as the successful candidate will be providing expert procurement and commercial technical advice, assistance and guidance to team and customers. Developing and actively managing procurement plans that support resource scheduling, management and reporting will be a critical part of the role.
As the Hub is commissioned nationally, the services are free to use at CCG, general practice and legally incorporated practice affiliations level. Therefore, the culture has always been one of sharing tools, techniques and products to support customers to deliver best practice.
SCW offers agile and hybrid ways of working. Hybrid working is a type of flexible working where employees blend working from different locations. It offers the employee the ability to choose to work wherever and however they are most productive, whether it be in an office, at home, or a customer site. Office location can be flexible within the SCW estate and will be agreed upon offer of contract.
SCW staff that are in posts considered to be agile will not be expected to attend office space for general working but will be required on occasions to attend face to face meetings and collaborative working sessions that may require travel to their home base or other locations across the estate or customer sites.
