Senior Procurement Manager

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join Lower Thames Crossing project stages one and two.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the specific contract requirements.


• Understand and include with procurement strategies and plans the need to deliver local spend, spend on SMEs and the contract specific apprenticeship requirements.


• Own and drive the Procurement Programme with a strong ethos for on site


• Identify potential suppliers and subcontractors specialising in highway construction, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts.


• Ensure the procurement process is cost-effective, efficient, and meets project requirements and timelines.


What you'll bring to the role:

• Management of project stakeholders to maintain and seek to improve upon procurement and construction programmes.


• To support the implementation of Oracle ERP on the scheme.


• Utilisation of digital procurement tools


• Experience of procurement and supply chain management


• Product knowledge of materials, plant and subcontracts


• Construction / Site based experience
