Full Job Description
- Maintain, develop, and implement automation systems primarily using Beckhoff PLC and TwinCAT software, and ideally able to also work with Siemens and TIA Portal
- Oversee the integration and lead verification of electrical control cabinets, including wiring, layout, and component selection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop specifications, and ensure successful project execution, including new product developments
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and control system issues to ensure continuous and efficient operation, with a customer first mindset
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on Beckhoff PLC and TwinCAT software. - Comfortable acting as SME and making decisions on behalf of the team with a customer first mindset
- Holds strong commitment to continuous improvement, is willing to act and able to influence others
- Experienced problem-solver, independently and as part of a team.
- Siemens PLC Modification & use of TIA Portal software
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automation systems, including 21 CFR part 11 and GAMP
