Full Job Description

The Product Integrity Team comprise of dynamic, critical thinking individuals who always have integrity and customer safety at the top of their priorities. The Product Investigation Class Action Team have been established to investigate, research and provide robust technical evidence in the form of reports and presentations to assist in litigated investigations globally. The team is the link between engineering and legal teams.,

  • Research and investigate all potential technical lines of enquiry, supporting legal requests and providing timely inputs that will support JLRs defence in impending and current class action litigation cases
  • Compose and deliver technical reports; with integrity, to provide internal and external stakeholders with a true and accurate reflection of alleged concerns, thus supporting the appropriate legal response.
  • Meeting all deadlines with regards to individual and team tasks and raise any obstacles at the earliest opportunity to ensure escalation can occur in a timely manner
  • Engage and maintain key relationships across the global business to obtain and confirm relevant information, including engineering responses, sharing knowledge and experience to support the team in achieving team tasks and deadlines
  • Work unsupervised and prioritise own workload according to task deadline, reporting on progress to line management

    This is a role for a tenacious individual who is highly motivated to investigate complex allegations, exploring multiple data sources and technical information. The role requires an individual with a well-rounded knowledge of all of JLR areas of business, from design to manufacturing to warranty and more.
  • The right candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to adapt to an ever-changing landscape and ability to manage multiple workstreams, with tight deadlines. This role will involve forging and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The right candidate will be able to work independently and prioritise their workload in conjunction with the wider team.,
  • Experience and knowledge across a broad range of engineering disciplines with an in-depth overview of JLR as a business including a working knowledge of JLR systems, investigation tools/techniques, Product Liability legislation, communication practices, including ISO 26262
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to forge and maintain new relationships
  • Hold an investigatory/researcher/'think outside the box' mindset to collate and interpret all the available information with an ability to turn complex engineering language into easy-to-understand simplistic terminology delivering the information in the form of technical reports
  • Skilled in data analytics with an aspiration to develop skills further such as 6 Sigma training
