Full Job Description

Our customers deserve a best-in-class CRM that takes away the busy work and helps them focus on growth and innovation. A key part of getting there are the HubSpot Admins, the users who become points of contact for HubSpot at their organizations and help their teams with setup, troubleshooting, and enablement. As part of their day-to-day, they face complexity and scaling challenges as a result of their growing teams, advanced processes, and tech stack. We've a huge opportunity to increase their efficiency and need a Senior Product Manager to help our Admins:

  • Spend less time on resolving tool-specific errors and cleaning up unused assets, and more time on innovating with new strategies and tools

  • Be less reactive to unexpectedly hitting tool limits, and have more confidence in the governance of their HubSpot accounts

  • Empower their teams to be more self-sufficient when they get stuck or need help

  • HubSpot Admins are the people often known as the Point of Contact for HubSpot in their company and tasked with administrative duties like onboarding users, importing data, offboarding users, evaluating software solutions, troubleshooting software issues or data inaccuracies, and answering questions from their teams. They're often the champions for HubSpot in their organizations but they also face challenges that take away from the way they could be spending their time or the way they're looking to grow. For instance, some of their most time-consuming challenges include taking ad-hoc requests from their teams, digging through the account for insights, deleting stale assets and more.

By creating a superb experience for these HubSpot power users, you'll have the opportunity to meaningfully impact their lives by increasing their efficiency as they mitigate operational risks while maximizing the value derived from HubSpot, thus building a self-governing CRM that enables them to focus on growth. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for how we optimize HubSpot for the users who often perform administrative tasks in their organizations.

As an SPM on the Account Insights team, you'll be meeting with customers directly, exploring how to positively impact their day-to-day, creating KPIs for how to measure admins' efficiency, leading your team through uncertainty and incremental delivery, and setting a compelling narrative on the company level. You'll be directly working with your partners in Engineering, Design, Research, and Analytics to make the most impactful decisions to delight our customers.

In this role you'll get to:
  • Create a shared vision and cohesive roadmap for the future of this product area as a critical member of the Product Triad - our system for building product collaboratively and strategically

  • Drive alignment, set goals, build understanding and motivate others, including cross-functional partners across the company

  • Guide new product ideas from initial concept all the way through launch

  • Understand our customers and their journey through the product by engaging with them directly and often

  • Use data to identify opportunities to improve our customers' experience, devise strategy to execute your ideas, and partner with business stakeholders across HubSpot to make solutions that help our customers grow, As a member of the Product Management org at HubSpot you'll:

  • Join a product-led culture that truly puts the customer first

  • Create and advance an ambitious product strategy that's driven by customer needs, business goals, powerful data, and global market indicators

  • Partner closely with colleagues in UX and Engineering to create a high-value product that's both powerful and easy to use

  • Use your voice, share your perspective, and have a real impact based on your point of view

  • Know what will lead to getting promoted, and why, thanks to clear expectations and robust career paths

  • Be empowered to show up as your authentic self and choose a work style and location where you can do your best work, whether that's at home, in an office, or a blend of the two.

Experience launching products incrementally to customers with a proven track record of impact

  • The ability to articulate product vision to a variety of audiences

  • A deep respect for the expertise and insights of their collaborators, including engineering, design, UX research, analytics, and others

  • A drive to understand customer needs deeply and truly solving for their problems

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal problem-solving skills

  • A passion for growing healthy teams and leaders, cultivating psychological safety, and facilitating tough conversations that help people grow

  • A desire to understand how HubSpot products work

  • The ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate - often without perfect information

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in an innovative and fast-paced environment

  • An understanding of the competitive software space

  • Experience working on platform products

  • Experience using data, including product usage tracking, to drive decisions

  • Experience building and owning a product roadmap, even under ambiguity
