Data privacy is one of the largest growing concerns in our modern world. Access to the data businesses rely on to connect with their customers (cookies, tracking, consent) are being cut off in a privacy-first world - to win in this market, businesses need to build trust with their customers and earn the right to their data and consent.

  • The mission of our Global Data Privacy team is to empower our customers to protect their business and earn their customers' trust. By building self-service tools and providing guidance on how to collect, process, and use customer data responsibly within data privacy regulations, we hope to drive trust by protecting consumer data and giving them more transparency and control over their data. We have an opportunity to become the most trusted CRM for data privacy, building a platform solution that solves for the customer, in addition to enabling HubSpot product teams to ship privacy-first solutions faster.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for how we level up our data privacy platform in HubSpot - from collecting and managing data to monitoring and mitigating risk - and working cross functionally to execute on that strategy. As an SPM on the Global Data Privacy team, you'll be meeting with customers directly, exploring how to positively impact their day-to-day, creating KPIs for how to measure admins' efficiency, leading your team through uncertainty and incremental delivery, and setting a compelling narrative at the company level. You'll be working directly with your partners in Engineering, Design, Research, and Analytics to make the most impactful decisions to delight our customers.

In this role you'll get to:
  • Create a shared vision and cohesive roadmap for the future of this product area as a critical member of the Product Triad - our system for building product collaboratively and strategically

  • Drive alignment, set goals, build understanding and motivate others, including cross-functional partners across the company

  • Guide new product ideas from initial concept all the way through launch

  • Understand our customers and their journey through the product by engaging with them directly and often

  • Use data to identify opportunities to improve our customers' experience, devise strategy to execute your ideas, and partner with business stakeholders across HubSpot to make solutions that help our customers grow, HubSpot (NYSE: HUBS) is a leading customer relationship management (CRM) platform that provides software and support to help businesses grow better. We build marketing, sales, service, and website management products that start free and scale to meet our customers' needs at any stage of growth. We're also building a company culture that empowers people to do their best work. If that sounds like something you'd like to be part of, we'd love to hear from you.
