SAP Concur is seeking a Product Marketing Consultant to join a dynamic team that supports the Concur Small and Midsized business segement. This role is focused on developing and executing strategies for SAP Concur products, messaging and positioning within the Small and Midsized Business segment. This product marketer will also work cross-functionally to plan and execute innovative go-to-market motions for the SAP Concur solutions, with the goal of maintaining category leadership and achieving pipeline, sales, adoption, retention, and growth objectives for their respective market units. The successful candidate will thrive leading cross-functional initiatives that positively impact the growth and success of the SAP Concur Small and Midsize (SMB) business unit. By developing a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, customer needs, white space, and product/solution value, they ensure that products and solutions are priced, packaged, and positioned to optimize SMB performance. They also impact innovation and product direction by helping the Product Strategy teams understand the unique business requirements of our SMB customers in all the markets in which we operate. This individual will report to the Senior Director of SMB Product Marketing and will work closely with multiple organizations within SAP and SAP Concur, including: solutions marketing, field marketing, pricing, pre-sales, sales, client success and product management teams.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for SAP Concur products within the SMB segment to ensure product success and a good customer experience
  • Product/Solution Expertise -Develop deep product knowledge to serve as a subject matter expert when working with other teams and create a differentiated value proposition and messaging, tailored to the target audience.
  • Advocate for the customer: Gather customer feedback and sentiment from various internal and external listening channels.
  • Strategic Planning - Contribute to marketing business planning based on corporate priorities, product/solution value proposition, audience needs and whitespace opportunities.
  • Program Planning - Contribute to integrated marketing program planning by providing an audience point of view via positioning, messaging, and respective solution/industry expertise.
  • Core Content Development: Partner with Solutions Marketing and Content team to ensure sales and marketing assets reflect the SMB positioning and messaging strategies
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with Enablement team to land new or updated products and initiative launches with the Distribution teams
  • Market Knowledge: Understand market opportunity by product and execute strategies to capture white space. Understand market developments and competitive threats to inform product enhancement requirements and create competitive positioning and talk tracks
