Full Job Description

This role is a senior high-profile position focused on the successful delivery of complex ERP and HCM programmes in UK Public Sector organisations. Your role In your role you will have to be an expert contributing to different phases of the project lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in engaging with client, partner and Infosys stakeholders You are expected to navigate successfully through difference of opinion within all stakeholders groups to ensure to meet the contractual and financial requirements of the programme, ensure accurate and timely reporting is established and maintained. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on programme processes and deliverables. The programme Manager will be the senior delivery person on the programme and will report into the Infosys senior management team for the programme. Responsibilities

  • Plan for effort, timelines, and cost for programme execution
  • Plan and communicate details of initial phases of the programme
  • Arrange for project kick-off meeting with the client and programme stakeholders
  • Review progress, anticipate and address risks
  • Execute project activities, track progress, identify and continuously monitor risks and work on strategies to mediate them.
  • Review and sign-off deliverables
  • Effectively prioritize activities across multiple program tracks and to meet task, deliverable, and deadline requirements while managing stakeholder expectations
  • Manage resources, communicate with client and project team as planned and deal with project issues to successfully deliver engagement and realize value articulated at time of deal closure and obtain the client-sign off.

    Candidate must be in the UK and be willing to travel to designated project site at stipulated project milestones/events.
  • Good experience of Project/Program management in IT industry with experience in solution delivery with best practices of implementation and any possible pitfalls
  • Strong Programme Management skills
  • Proven experience working in agile environment.
  • Strong experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence
  • Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic team-oriented environment
  • Analytical ability in Defect Analysis, solutioning, prevention, categorization and tracking to closure
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and collaboration skills with all levels of management and the ability to motivate teams to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic and complex problems
  • Strong client relationship building and communication skills to manage client/management expectations and building service improvement plans
  • Excellent customer service, leadership, stake holder management, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
