If this sounds interesting, we'd like to meet you., To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Project Accountant located in Kendal / Blackburn, UK. The Senior Project Accountant will be working closely with Operations, Project Managers and the Cost Accountant to ensure effective financial control across the Anord Mardix projects: focusing on revenue, cashflow, profitability, reporting & analysis. What a typical day looks like:

  • The calculation and analysis of project revenue, as well as maintaining the integrity of data that supports the accounts. Maintaining full audit trails for both internal and external audit purposes:
  • Production of monthly reports on overall project financial performance and gross margin for management reviews.
  • Managing the project team, including accounts receivable and credit control. Ensuring customer invoices are raised in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the contract terms and conditions and management information requirements.
  • Work closely with Senior Finance team on forecasting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and support future system developments. Focus being on robust reporting systems for financial performance and contract compliance.
  • Building financial awareness of non-finance staff across the business

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience and training.
  • Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
  • Finance related professional certification courses is preferred (CPA, CMA, CWA, CA, CGA, CFP, APICS). Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or a Certified General Accountant (CGA).
