Full Job Description

As a Senior Project Administrator, you will provide effective and efficient administrative support for the day to day delivery of a project looking at the integration of new software and digital solutions in a modern planning system.

If so, please keep reading as you're just what we're looking for!, You must understand the needs of the project and the Council in relation to task management and be able to effectively operate various software packages and information technology systems, whilst delivering effective administration systems in a busy office. Experience in using Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate would be preferable. An understanding and interest in the planning system and digital projects is also desirable, but not essential. We are more looking for someone who can work under their own initiative, champion the programme and ensure the team are delivering what is required.

You should possess excellent written and verbal skills and have an understanding of data protection and confidentiality.

Essential qualifications include a recognised business admin qualification or equivalent.

The post is a 6-month fixed term position, 37hrs per week, at grade F (£27,334 - £29,777) and will be based in Gateshead Civic Centre, but able to hybrid work remotely as well. However, part time hours would be considered.
