Full Job Description

As our C&S team continues to grow and remain an integral part of our broader team, we seek a motivated Senior Engineer to manage and direct projects in the Power sector. This role is a key part of our expanding department.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive project delivery experience and will be eager to mentor graduate engineers and technicians in both technical design and project management.

A thorough understanding of managing project delivery to quality, cost and programme is essential and experience in the power sector is highly desirable.

Key Objectives

+ Manage and deliver single- and/or multi-disciplinary projects to cost, schedule and quality criteria
+ Coordinate various aspects of infrastructure design work on a range of project sizes
+ Mentor, train and develop engineers, technicians, graduates and apprentices.
+ Contribute to wider development of the C&S (Power team) department capabilities, + This is an opportunity to showcase your multitasking skills and capacity to oversee multiple initiatives, supported by a cohesive and encouraging team.
+ An excellent opportunity to witness a project's full lifecycle, from the initial design phase to the construction stage, engaging in every aspect from start to finish, seeing your designs come to life
+ The opportunity to expand on your management skills through supervising and motivating a team, with the guidance of the Disciplines leadership
+ You will be joining a dynamic and experienced team of professionals, diving into a bustling stream of ongoing and upcoming projects - you wont get bored!

+ HNC/ HND Civil Engineering and / or recognised Civil Engineering Degree
+ Professional membership of an appropriate body (ICE, APM, CIHT, IHE etc.), or actively in the process of achieving this
+ Experience in managing project delivery
+ Experienced in directing project teams
+ Technically proficient in Infrastructure design and coordination.
+ Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
+ Full UK Driving Licence
