Senior Project Manager

Role: Project Manager

Location: York/Yorkshire

Salary: 70,000/ 75,000 + Package

Our client a TIER 1 main contractor are seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager on a permanent basis to cover schemes between the value of 5m- 30m throughout the Yorkshire region (Leeds/York/Sheffield/Wakefield - current up and coming schemes).

Job Description:

• Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers


• Coordianting Site & Utility preperation (pre-construction)


• Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines


• Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials


• Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard


• Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending


• Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email or meetings in person


• Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors


• Liaising with Site Management in terms of build programmes and updates
