Senior Project Manager

The Project Manager for Cytiva is responsible for the delivery of projects aligned to the Pall Medical strategic roadmap. The Project Manager will lead cross functional project teams and utilise PMO best practices to deliver projects on time, to the right quality and to budget, helping to maximise return on investment. This position is part of the Medical Project Management Office, located in Harbourgate, Portsmouth, and will be site based. • Be a champion for PMO (Project Management Office) culture and the continuous improvement of DBS and PMO methodologies.
• Listen, understand, translate and document internal and external customers' requirements to develop meaningful project charters and maintain accurate records and system updates throughout the project life cycle.
• Develop and maintain robust project plan's using Visual Project Management, Daily Management and Project Planning software where applicable.
• Maintain awareness of schedule risk, both internal and external, with implementation of proactive countermeasures, balanced against ogransiational strategy.
• Create, monitor and manager budget expenditure for the projects in scope of accountability.
  
  Degree level education in Science or Engineering, recognised Project Management qualification, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years' experience in a project management role leading cross functional teams across multiple geographical locations.
• The ability to build engaged cross functional project teams aligned to a common purpose.
• The ability to Guide, Coach and Influence core team members, internal sponsors, and external collaborators, throughout the project life cycle.
• The ability to communicate effectively across all departments and functions.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Understanding of global regulatory medical device requirements for new product introduction
• Understanding of different project management methods (incl Agile and Waterfall)
• DBS mindset and application of DBS tools in a project delivery setting
