Full Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity available for a talented Sr. Project Manager with experience managing projects in a hardware/capital equipment engineering environment.
As a Sr. Project Manager with Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology, you will lead and take ownership of developing new products, from planning to successful, punctual launch and initial deliveries. This includes ensuring a seamless cross-functional process, sometimes remotely and outside the current business unit. You will serve as a role model, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and promoting best practices in project management and product development within the company, while also developing and mentoring others in these areas.

Degree qualified.
Experience in a Project Management position, working on large scale, complex projects.
Background in Engineering and ideally previous experience in Capex Management.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/ ABILITIES:

Experience with capital equipment and proven success in product development projects in a high-tech environment.
Capable of flexible work across product lines, business units, and locations, even remotely.
Familiarity with project management tools, issue tracking systems, and status reporting.
Possesses broad business knowledge, including manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, quality, and service, which are crucial to consider during project planning and delivery phases.
Has a solid understanding of stage-gate project oversight processes and has demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with multi-functional teams.
Effectively able to work remotely and deliver projects regardless of location.
