Full Job Description

The Information Team are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join their innovative, award winning team as a Senior Project Manager.

The post holder will be joining us at an exciting but challenging time as the Trust faces multiple complex challenges meaning the role of data has never been so prominent.

The role is essential to improve patient data quality for the Trust to minimise clinical risk to patients. As a team we are working hard to improve the quality of data captured and the processes for its validation which is essential to the Trust's delivery of 18 weeks, As Senior Project Manager the post holder will work alongside the Information and Data Quality Teams to deliver an inhouse RTT Training Programme in partnership with other local provider trusts. This will require development and onward management of a detailed project plan as well as advice over appropriate data recording/capture and adherence to national data dictionary standards. Preparation of training material and related Standard Operating Procedures will be a key component of the role.

We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with fivehospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 800,000 people. Our vision is 'great healthcare from great people'. Everything we do is guided by our values: 'People feel cared for, safe, respected and confident that we are making a difference'. We have a new way of working at East Kent Hospitals, called 'We care'. It's about empowering frontline staff to lead improvements day-to-day. We're looking for compassionate people to be part of our improvement journey for the patients, families and carers we care for every day.
