Full Job Description
- Lead end-to-end migration of applications/workloads from on-prem infrastructure to AWS Cloud.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including risk management, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
- Ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and issue resolution.
- Identify and mitigate any potential challenges, ensuring minimal downtime and business disruption.
- Oversee testing, validation, and optimisation phases post-migration to ensure performance and security standards.
Flint is looking for a contract Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale cloud migration project. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects involving the migration of large numbers of applications or workloads from on-premises infrastructure to AWS Public Cloud., 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on large-scale cloud migrations. - Proven experience migrating applications or workloads to AWS Cloud.
- Strong understanding of AWS Cloud Services (eg, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.).
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is mandatory.
- Ability to manage large, cross-functional teams and work closely with senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of on-premises to cloud migration strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Expertise in budget management, timeline control, and delivering complex projects on time.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
