Full Job Description

We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to join our Defence sector teams through out the UK. Within this role you will work on a mixture of both UK and Overseas projects. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions. While you will be UK based there may be a requirement for short duration Overseas visits., As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to work within a team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects. You will be responsible for the day to day management of projects, inclusive of; contract administration, client management, management of the wider project team and project finances. You will be required to positively engage with the construction and design team and work collaboratively to mitigate risks, avoid claims and disputes whilst maintaining meticulous records to allow you to quickly respond to issues arising and from an informed and balanced opinion having due regard to the building contract. This role involves providing client-side project management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle from option studies, option development, construction tender support through to NEC or JCT contract administration. You will have a strong professional network and will enjoy being active/attending industry events within the region. You may also be required to undertake Line Management responsibilities, where you will thrive from motivating and mentoring members of your team. Key Skills Here's what you'll do:

  • Client side project management, including stakeholder, schedule and contract management
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders and members of the multi-disciplinary project team
  • Manage the efficient delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards
  • Support the co-ordination and sign-off of all management information produced by the project management team prior to issue
