Full Job Description
Are you an experienced project manager looking for a new challenge? Suffolk County Council is seeking a Senior Project Manager for HR Digital Transformation. This is a fixed-term, one-year role based in Ipswich, offering a competitive salary of £45,380 - £55,634 per annum (pro rata if part-time)., As the Senior Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our HR Digital Transformation. Working within the HR service, the main purpose of this role is to create a robust, end-to-end process in Oracle Fusion that ensures accurate establishment data, validates staffing budget allocations, and improves management and forecasting of staff costs. You'll oversee a full data cleanse of existing establishment data, implement comprehensive reporting tools, and collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT departments., Plan and manage all aspects of the project, including technical deliverables.
- Direct and manage project resources, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing suitable contingency plans.
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to support business case development.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to deliver the project.
- Monitor and report on the progress of agreed benefits realisation.

Extensive knowledge and experience of project management methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale IT projects.
- Ability to elicit customer requirements and design effective solutions.
- Strong risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
- PRINCE II/Agile Coaching/Scrum Master certifications are advantageous.
