We are looking for an exceptional individual who has delivered multiple migration projects, ideally within a Life and Pensions environment and would relish the chance to use their experience to help shape how we do things here.
You will strive to ensure business outcomes are clearly understood and associated solutions are delivered to enable the business to realise benefits on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
You will take overall responsibility for planning and leading the delivery of the whole change lifecycle for projects covering both Business and Technical driven migrations and in turn creating a reusable strategy and approach.
About the role
-Lead end-to-end project management for migration projects within the organization.
-Develop and implement comprehensive migration plans, including migration strategy, scope definition, resource allocation, and documentation.
-Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations during migrations.
-Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and issues that may arise during migrations.
-Monitor and track project progress, identify deviations from plan, and take appropriate corrective actions to keep projects on track.
-Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are included in migration plans and effectively communicated to project teams.
-Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within agreed-upon financial constraints.
-Develop a migration practice including a toolset incorporating templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organisation.
About you
-Experience of leading complex migration projects with cross functional teams across multiple parties.
-Highly competent in the use of ETL or ELT migration tools and the use of staging areas for managing the translation and loading of data.
-Ability to translate complex data requirements to a business audience to ensure clarity of requirements.
-Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business or technical objective.
-Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment.
-Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholders.
-Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project stakeholders and sponsors.
