Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Build and manage python services & packages used by the AI research teams
• Work closely with the Frontend Team to deliver user friendly frontend features using Typescript, React and Vite.js
• Contribute code to data engineering & platform projects
• Work with AI and data engineers to develop efficient processes for accessing and handle increasing volumes of data
• Collaborate with the AI & data teams to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  
  BSc or MSc in relevant academic field plus 3-5 years professional experience
• Experience delivering and maintaining production code
• Experience working with Typescript and React frontends
• Strong experience with Python, common packages and best practices for delivering high quality code
• Familiarity with common software architecture patterns and system design
• Awareness of common DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Docker)
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and development (AWS, GCP etc.)
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (such as Terraform) is a plus. Experience with Kubernetes and interest in machine learning is highly desirable. Worked with Typescript modules which rely on Javascript Canvas Object such as Konva, Paper.js is preferred.
