Senior QC Inspector

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our Quality department in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with the Quality Manager to handle daily tasks, resolve customer quality queries, facilitate continuous improvement teams, and identify trends in quality issues before they escalate.

How you will impact Smurfit-Westrock :

• Manage quality control release jobs and inventory per SOP.


• Ensure output meets customer specifications and complies with BS EN ISO 9001 and PS9000.


• Perform internal checks and audits.


• Handle customer quality queries via phone and email and Participate in customer liaison during audits.


• Liaise with production departments on issues and improvements.


• Raise internal complaints and discrepancies in Q-Pulse.


• Complete final specification checks, and batch release.


• Action and control non-conforming products.


• Conduct testing and take responsibility for product quality.


• Comply with ISO 9001:2015 and PS9000 quality management standards.
  
  Quality control experience is desirable


• Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of industry standards.


• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


• Utilize Microsoft Office packages competently.


• Exhibit analytical skills and strong administration skills


• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.


• Foster approachability and good interpersonal skills.


• Take initiative and have a 'can-to-do' work ethic.
