Full Job Description
The role of Senior Quality Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the University's high standards of academic quality assurance. As part of our dedicated Academic Quality Unit, you'll work collaboratively with other quality assurance colleagues and with stakeholders across the University to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
The role involves providing expert advice and guidance to schools on quality assurance matters, including course approval, review, and changes. It also includes coordinating and implementing the University's quality assurance processes, such as processing amendments to curriculum and supporting curriculum or partner approval events. The position supports both internal and external review procedures, including servicing ad-hoc working groups and meetings. Additionally, it requires drafting and preparing reports, analyzing data, and providing recommendations. Collaboration with colleagues across the University is essential to improve quality assurance processes and data management.
The role requires excellent organizational and time management skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in IT and experience with various software are also essential. Applicants will need to have a degree or equivalent experiential learning as well as a range of GCSEs including English Language and Maths, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning.
