Our client, a prominent construction company based in Billericay, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a pivotal role within the company, requiring a deep understanding of UK construction procedures and regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UK construction industry, enabling them to manage projects efficiently and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Management:

• Prepare turnover and profit forecasts to guide financial planning.


• Manage the pricing, execution, and final accounting for all projects.


• Prepare and agree on applications and valuations to ensure financial accuracy.


- Procurement and Contract Administration:

- Oversee the procurement, management, and negotiation of Sub-Contractor packages.

- Review and manage contract information, revisions, and variations.

- Handle all aspects of contract administration and maintain meticulous records.

- Manage tender documents and conduct site measurements.

- Project Oversight:

• Lead the Design and Build processes, ensuring project alignment with client expectations.


• Provide specific support to Contract Managers, ensuring smooth project execution.


• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, maintaining strong communication and relationships.


• Attend and actively participate in project meetings.


- Director Support:

• Execute tasks as assigned by the Director, providing necessary support across various projects.


Performance Targets:

• Ensure effective and timely delivery of all assigned work areas, meeting project deadlines and financial objectives.
