Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior, CT Radiographer to join our dedicated team as bank staff. Mayo Clinic is a global leader in medical care. The modalities we offer include; Dual Energy CT, 3T MRI, 3D Breast tomosynthesis, Digital plain film X-Ray, iDXA and Ultrasound. This position is located in London. Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the U.K. and hold current Registration with the HCPC. Relocation is not provided. The radiographer will provide a customer-focused, high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our clients and service users. The radiographer will strive for and maintain the best standard of diagnostic imaging and efficiency for our users at all times. This is a key clinical role providing a safe and diagnostic CT service across a varied workload within a multidisciplinary clinic. The CT radiographer will support the radiology manager and radiography team in maintaining governance and assist in supporting the service to meet activity and quality improvement goals. Strong communication skills are required to interact with a variety of staff and patients. The ideal candidate will provide suggestions to improve the practice and be willing to maintain a program of continuous professional development. The radiographer will promote the positive image of Mayo Clinic Healthcare at all times and help it become reconised for delivering the world's finest preventative healthcare solution.   • Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent.
  • Evidence of a senior CT role
  • Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience
  • Cardiac CT, CT experience along with CT colonography experience.
  • Have PGD awareness, CoR approved injection qualifications.
  • Demonstrate IT competency.
  • Experience in Private Healthcare.
  • Reliability, flexibility and the ability to be a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting.
  • Demonstrated autonomous working and excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Current Registration with the HCPC; additional specialty certification/training as required.
