This role is offered on a part time basis 30 hours per week, this means that candidates interested in working part time are encouraged to apply and will receive a salary on a pro rata basis.
An excellent opportunity has arisen in the busy Radiology Department at The Great Western Hospital in Swindon for a Senior Radiology Support Worker.

The Radiology department consists of 2 interventional rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 7 general X-ray rooms, 6 ultrasound rooms, 2 diagnostic CT scanners, 2 MRI scanners and a nursing recovery bay.
The department is always expanding and we would love you to join us in this expansion! Full training and support will be provided., A Senior Health Care Support Worker (SHCSW) for Radiology is a core member of the team delivering direct care to patients and supporting registered practitioners to deliver high quality, compassionate healthcare to people in accordance with assessed needs and a care plan.The post holder will assist Doctors, Radiographers and Radiology Nursing staff in all aspects of patient care and diagnostic imaging and undertake a range of delegated tasks and delegated authority and will report to a registered practitioner. The post holder will teach and supervise junior staff but will not be responsible for their line management.
We are looking for committed support workers who are confident in cannulation and with some experience of looking after patients following biopsies. You must be passionate about doing the best for our patients through delivering excellent standards of care.
