Full Job Description

Due to an internal secondment, we are seeking a highly experienced, registered Radiotherapy Dosimetrist (HCPC/VRCT) to take a senior role within our radiotherapy planning team at Peterborough City Hospital on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is an exceptional opportunity to influence the direction of our cutting-edge radiotherapy services and join a team dedicated to providing top-tier patient care., You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as lead for SABR planning and technique development, or acting as planning lead for clinical trials implementation and national audit
  • Deputising for the Radiotherapy Planning Manager as required
  • Assisting with the management of complex treatment planning pathways
  • Provision of highly complex clinical technical information to oncologists and radiographers
  • Training of radiographer, planning, and physics staff in treatment planning techniques
